Neal McDonough (born 13 February 1966; age 58) is an actor who portrayed Lieutenant Hawk, the Enterprise-E helmsman, in Star Trek: First Contact.

McDonough is a Star Trek fan, and in playing Hawk fulfilled a lifelong dream.

His last major series was called Medical Investigation. He also had starring roles in the series Boomtown, and the Band of Brothers miniseries. His other feature film roles include Disney's baseball movie Angels in the Outfield (with Christopher Lloyd), Timeline, Minority Report, and Walking Tall opposite The Rock.

In 1995 he starred in a science fiction TV pilot called White Dwarf, where he starred as a young medical intern on the war-torn, technology-free planet Rusta. This pilot also starred Paul Winfield, Katy Boyer, Roy Brocksmith and Time Winters. He also appeared in The X-Files and had a TV guest apperance in Quantum Leap (with Scott Bakula and Dean Stockwell).

He has also appeared in a film called The Guardian, co-starring Star Trek: Enterprise guest actor Clancy Brown, Flags of Our Fathers, a World War II drama directed by Clint Eastwood, and I Know Who Killed Me with Brian McNamara, Spencer Garrett and Gregory Itzin.

His voice-acting credits include playing the part of Bruce Banner, the Hulk's alter-ego, in the video game The Incredible Hulk: Ultimate Destruction with Ron Perlman, Daniel Riordan and Nicholas Guest.

His most recent work is Detective Wyatt Cain, a Tin Man aka Police Officer, in the Sci-Fi Channel miniseries Tin Man. Also starring in this series is Gwynyth Walsh.
