Neeka

Neeka was the Banean dog kept as the pet of Lidell and Tolen Ren. When given food, Neeka could tell if it was spoiled or not.

Neeka was integral in proving Tom Paris' innocence when he was accused of the murder of Professor Ren and arrested by the Banean government. This was because she didn't bark at the Banean doctor, which means that he wasn't a stranger to her. (VOY: "Ex Post Facto")

Neeka was portrayed by Gizmo, a Chihuahua/Brussels' Griffon cross. He was trained by Rob Bloch and Cynthia Coulter of Critters of the Cinema.
