- In 2267, the USS Enterprise encountered a Neural parasite at the Deneva colony. (TOS: "Operation -- Annihilate!")
- In 2364, the USS Enterprise-D encountered a Neural parasite attempting to infiltrate Starfleet Command. (TNG: "Conspiracy")
