In an alternate version of 1944, Nicky was a friend of Carmine, a leader of the resistance against the occupation of America by the Nazi/Na'kuhl alliance. When Carmine was wounded in the leg, he had his wound dressed by Nicky. Upon viewing the dressing, Alicia Travers, another resistance fighter, told Carmine that "he should stick to cars," before redressing it herself.

Later when Carmine and his associates assisted Jonathan Archer attack the Vosk's compound, Nicky was ordered to lay down some covering fire Archer and Trip Tucker who were attempting to escape from the building.
