A nucleogenic particle is a type of particle.

On M-class planets, nucleogenic particles are necessary to produce rain; without them a planet would be incapable of producing any precipitation. The technology of the Nacene interact with atmospheres of M-class planets to destroy nucleogenic particles, as was the case on Ocampa. (VOY: "Caretaker")

The warp drive of the USS Equinox, enhanced with nucleogenic energy from nucleogenic lifeforms, emitted nucleogenic particles. In 2376, the USS Voyager did not detect any nucleogenic particles, indicating that the Equinox had not brought its enhanced drive on-line. (VOY: "Equinox, Part II")
