Oak Street station was a fictional police station located in New York City.

In The Big Good-Bye, Detective Jim Tierney was posted to this station. During his first year at this station, he worked as a plainclothes man. One night, he had arrested Dolan, a powerful and well-connected man, for taking money for a drink on Sunday. According to the law, there was a prohibition on selling alcohol on a Sunday. (TNG: "The Big Goodbye")

The pages seen in the episode were actually from the detective novel, The Listening Man, by author John A. Moroso. This novel was published in 1924. Information on Oak Street station was from pages 188-189.
