Ogat was a Klingon planet. It as home to a residential training academy for young Klingons studying the way of the warrior. The academy course was difficult, but the teachers were excellent.
In 2370, K'mtar suggested that Alexander Rozhenko should leave his father and attend the academy on Ogat in order to better train for a warrior's life. Worf ultimately refused, and Alexander remained on the USS Enterprise-D a while longer. (TNG: "Firstborn")
According to the Star Trek: Star Charts (pg. 64), Ogat was located in the Ogat system. The Ogat system was located in or near Klingon space, in the Beta Quadrant. This system was a single star system. Primary was a Class G star with a magnitude of +7, which was 1/10 as bright as Sol.
