Ohniaka III was the third planet in the Ohniaka system. It was the home of a Federation research station and was located in the same sector as the MS system and New Berlin Colony.

In 2369, a rogue Borg ship carrying drones that had been severed from the collective attacked the station, killing all of its personnel. The USS Enterprise-D received their distress call, and tried but failed to get there in time. A security team beamed down to the planet, only to find a group of Borg drones. (TNG: "Descent")

According to the script, the pronunciation for Ohniaka was "oh-nee-AH-ka". [1]
