Galaxy class bridge conn ops — The two forward stations on the bridge of a *Galaxy*-class starship. Ops was usually on the left, with conn on the right.

The operations station (also known as "ops") is a console station on Starfleet bridges of the 24th century that is manned by the operations officer. The station, having evolved from older 23rd century positions such as communications & science, includes internal systems control and sensor system usage as part of its purview.

On a Galaxy-class starship such as the USS Enterprise-D, the ops station was situated right before the viewscreen, occupying a central position with the conn. (Star Trek: The Next Generation)

On an Intrepid-class starship such as the USS Voyager, the ops station was located at the rear of the bridge. (Star Trek: Voyager)
