Oskoid

An oskoid leaf

Oskoid was a leaf-like Betazoid food, dark yellow with purple veins, that contained sap said to keep one warm. It was a favorite food of Lwaxana Troi. (TNG: "Ménage à Troi")

Lwaxana Troi replicated some oskoids when she was aboard the USS Enterprise-D in late 2367. Oskoids were considered as a Betazoid delicacy. (TNG: "Half a Life")

According to Ronald D. Moore, Gene Roddenberry, while rewriting "Ménage à Troi", originally described oskoids as a "long cylindrical piece of fruit with veins going down the side." (TNG Season 3 Blu-ray "Inside the Writer's Room" special feature)
