The Pallas 14 system was the name for an inhabited binary system on the outer fringe of the Milky Way Galaxy. This system had three planets - Bezride, Mantilles, and Alondra.
In 2269, Mantilles was the most remote inhabited planet of the Federation. Robert Wesley, a retired Starfleet commodore, was the planet's governor. Mantilles had a population of 82 million.
During that year, the system was invaded by a huge cosmic cloud creature, which began to consume the system. After consuming Alondra, the cloud creature threatened to engulf Mantilles. It was convinced by the crew of the USS Enterprise to leave the galaxy. (TAS: "One of Our Planets Is Missing")
In 2293, the location of Pallas 14 in the Milky Way Galaxy was labeled in the star chart The Explored Galaxy, which was seen in James T. Kirk's quarters aboard the USS Enterprise-A. (Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country, okudagram)
