Paramount Stage 14 is located on the Paramount Pictures lot in Hollywood, California.
Stage 14 was used in 1996 for the production of Star Trek: First Contact, containing a large section of corridors and the two story main engineering set. Separated only by a large door, Stages 14 and 15 were connected, making them one large production stage.
- Paramount Stages 8 and 15 housed the remainder of sets representing the USS Enterprise-E for Star Trek: First Contact.
In May 2007, The Trek Movie Report website reported that J.J. Abrams' upcoming film, Star Trek, would - in part - be filmed on Paramount's Stage 14.
Set construction reportedly began in July 2007, utilizing other "historic" Star Trek sound stages including Stages 8, 9, 11, 15 and 18. [1] The film wrapped production on 27 March 2008. [2]
