Template:Realworld Patricia "Patty" Blau Price was a senior staff member of Industrial Light & Magic who worked as effects manager on the pre-production of the Star Trek: The Next Generation pilot episode "Encounter at Farpoint" in 1987. Seven years later, Blau Price was the executive in charge of production during the miniature crash sequence filmed by ILM for the feature film Star Trek Generations and in 1996 an ILM senior staff member during the production of Star Trek: First Contact.

Blau Price was employeed by ILM from the early 1980s on. Her first credit as production secretary was in 1980 on the science fiction sequel Star Wars: Episode V - The Empire Strikes Back followed by credits as production and location coordinator on the adventure Raiders of the Lost Ark (1981), the science fiction sequel Star Wars: Episode VI - Return of the Jedi (1983), the fantasy film Neverending Story (1984), the sequel Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom (1984), the drama Starman (1984), and the adventure The Goonies (1985).

Following work as visual effects producer and coordinator on the fantasy film *batteries not included (1987), the fantasy film Willow (1988), the sequel Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (1989), the science fiction sequel Back to the Future Part III (1990), and the comic adaptation The Rocketeer (1991, starring William O. Campbell), Blau Price became the executive in charge of production for ILM on the fantasy film Death Becomes Her (1992), the blockbuster Jurassic Park (1993), the horror film Wolf (1994), and the drama Forrest Gump (1994).

As ILM senior staff member, Blau Price also contributed to films such as Congo (1995), Jumanji (1995), 101 Dalmatians (1996), Daylight (1996), The Lost World: Jurassic Park (1997), Men in Black (1997), Starship Troopers (1997), Mercury Rising (1998), Magnolia (1999), Planet of the Apes (2001), and Minority Report (2002).
