Crewman Pechetti was a engineer stationed on board Deep Space 9 in 2373. He and several others volunteered for a salvage operation on board Empok Nor. He was known as an amateur collector of alien insignia and a practical joker among his friends, who including his fellow engineer Boq'ta. He was later killed on the mission by a Cardassian Third Battalion soldier. (DS9: "Empok Nor")
