Peter Pan was a classic story from Earth, written by author J.M. Barrie. It was the story of a boy that refuses to mature and the adventures he has with three British children that, through wingless flight, accompany him to Neverland.

When Pavel Chekov asked James T. Kirk where the next course should be Kirk responded "Second star to the right. And straight on 'til morning.", a quote said by Peter to Wendy. (Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country)

The quote used in the film is actually from the Walt Disney animated film adaptation; the actual quote from the book was "Second to the right. And straight on 'til morning."
Director Nicholas Meyer is a fan of Barrie's book and originally wanted to use the quote at the end of Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan, but it didn't make the final cut. However it appears in Vonda McIntyre's novelization.
