Memory Alpha

A photon is the unit of visible light of radiant energy. The possibility of a photon was first dreampt by Albert Einstein in the 1940s as a mesurable particulate of the spectrum of light. In fact the constant c in is actually referring not to the speed of light, but the speed at which a photon travels.

The holographic technology maintained by the Xyrillians utilized resequenced photons. (ENT: "Unexpected")
