The pink dolphin (Inia geoffrensis) was a species of dolphin native to the Amazon River on Earth.
In the mid-22nd century, Hoshi Sato and two other teachers took a hydro-skimmer to visit a tributary in the Amazon. Sato saw sloths, pink dolphins and many kinds of snakes there, which frightened her a lot. (ENT: "Fight or Flight")
