The Prakesh was a Cardassian Galor-class warship in service in the 24th century. Under the command of Gul Dukat, the Prakesh evacuated the members of the Detapa Council from Cardassia Prime during the early days of the Klingon-Cardassian War in 2372. The ship was intercepted by several Klingon ships and destroyed, but not before its passengers and crew were rescued by the USS Defiant. (DS9: "The Way of the Warrior")
