The Predator-class was a class of warship utilized by Kazon during the 2370s. This class of vessel was equipped with plasma torpedoes.
In a holographic scenario experienced by the Doctor, he is told by B'Elanna Torres that USS Voyager had been attacked by two Predator-class warships, which had taken the ship by surprise. The two ships had apparently hit Voyager with a volley of plasma torpedoes, which started a core breach, and forced the crew to abandon ship. (VOY: "Projections")
- According to the Star Trek Encyclopedia, the Kazon carrier vessel and the Predator-class were one in the same, however, no other on-screen or production sources can confirm this suggestion.
