"Prototype Unit 0001 is ready to accept programming."

Prototype Unit 0001 was a Pralor Automated Personnel Unit created by B'Elanna Torres and 3947. It was powered by a uniform chromodynamic power module intended to allow the automated units to procreate. However, when Torres discovered that the Builders intentionally incorporated the inability to procreate into the units' design, she realized the danger of allowing robots to be autonomous. She later destroyed 0001. (VOY: "Prototype")

Prototype Unit 0001 was played by actor Hugh Hodgin.
