Changes: Quadrant 904

Quadrant 904 is a region of space 900 light years from Earth, and six days from the Beta VI colony at warp 3. Much of this quadrant is a star desert with zero space density, allowing starships to cross it faster.

In 2267, the USS Enterprise entered this quadrant on a supply run to Beta VI, and encountered a planet called Gothos. (TOS: "The Squire of Gothos")

This use of the term quadrant occured before the current standardization of the quadrant/sector model of stellar cartography.
