AT: "xx" In one possible timeline, the Ram Izad were an intelligent species native to the Ram Izad homeworld, in a region of space near the Krenim Imperium. In 2374, after the reversion of the Imperium to a pre-warp state, Annorax used the Krenim weapon ship to erase the Ram Izad civilization from history, thereby achieving a 52% restoration. (VOY: "Year of Hell, Part II")
This is most likely not the same as the planet Rahm-Izad mentioned in TNG: "The Chase". In that episode Rahm-Izad was used as a ruse to throw Gul Ocett off of the trail of a four-billion-year-old genetic puzzle. That episode seems to indicate that Rahm-Izad was in an actual and commonly known, if distant, star system in 2369; although presumably not as distant as the Delta Quadrant. However, to Ocett's credit, the ruse was notably short-lived.
