Quark holding a renewal scroll pen "blessed" by Vedek Redab

Redab was a Bajoran Vedek who passed away sometime before the Bajoran Gratitude Festival, also called Peldor Festival, in 2371.

Vedek Redab was of apparent fame on Bajor because Quark sold commemorative latinum plated Renewal scroll inscription pens that he claimed had been blessed by Vedek Redab before his passing.

According to Quark, the pens were inscribed with, "Deep Space 9's Third Annual Gratitude Festival, today's date, and a lovely portrait of the station by Ermat Zimm." (DS9: "Fascination")
