The Republic was a 22nd century Earth Starfleet starship commanded by Captain Jennings.
The Republic was the former posting of Erika Hernandez, prior to her assignment to the Columbia. It was also the former assignment of the Columbia's new chef - a "gift" from Captain Jennings. (ENT: "Affliction")
The Republic was most likely decommissioned and put into mothball with the rest of the fleet in 2161 when it was superceded by the next generation of ships equipped with the Warp 7 engine.
