Ricardo "Richard" F. Delgado (born 25 May 1964; age 59) is an illustrator who worked on Star Trek: Deep Space Nine's first season. It was his idea to place a baseball card on Captain Sisko's desk in the series as a decorative item, leading to the creation of the Buck Bokai character. Delgado was heavily involved in designing the station and its interiors such as ops and the promenade. The starships he designed include the Miradorn starship that was seen in DS9: "Vortex". He also worked as an illustrator on Star Trek: First Contact.

After leaving the Star Trek production staff team, Delgado worked as a storyboard artist on the films Apollo 13, Species, The Matrix Reloaded, The Matrix Revolutions, The Haunted Mansion, Elektra and the 2014 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

He also worked as an illustrator on Men in Black and Robotech: The Shadow Chronicles. The next film to feature Delgado's work is the Bruce Almighty sequel Evan Almighty.

Delgado was interviewed in Star Trek: The Magazine Volume 1, Issue 9 and on the DS9 Season 1 DVD special feature "Deep Space Nine: A Bold Beginning", which used an interview from 19 April 1993.
