Richard Barnett is a visual effects artist who worked on both Star Trek: Deep Space Nine and Star Trek: Enterprise. He is currently involved in the production of the remastered original series, which started in 2006. As part of the CBS Digital team, he appeared as a Starfleet extra on the new matte painting in the episode "The Menagerie, Part I".
