Richard McGonagle (born 22 October 1946; age 77) played the role of Dr. Ja'Dar in the Star Trek: The Next Generation episode "New Ground". Later, McGonagle appeared in VOY: "Pathfinder" and "Inside Man" as Commander Peter Harkins.
