Rita was an unseen character from the novel The Hotel Royale.
Rita was the girlfriend of Mickey D and the object of affection of The Bellboy. Despite warnings from The Assistant Manager, The Bellboy pursued his interest in Rita and was killed by Mickey D. (TNG: "The Royale")
