Template:Realworld Robert Edward Hamner (7 July 1928 – 25 April 1996; age 67) either wrote for or produced (or sometimes both) about thirty five different television series. He is best known as the creator of the police procedural show S.W.A.T. He worked from the late sixties until shortly before his death.
