Robert Legato was a Starfleet officer in the 24th century.

He was listed as a Starfleet Command vice admiral on the dedication plaque of the USS Brattain in 2345. (TNG: "Night Terrors")

In 2353, Legato was listed on a directory placard as having an office in room 35882 on Starbase 32. (TNG: "Violations")
