Chintoka tactical map — The location of Rondac III

Rondac III was the third planet in the Rondac system. During the Dominion War, it was the location of a Dominion cloning facility. In 2375, it was attacked by detachments of the First, Third, and Ninth Cardassian Orders loyal to Legate Damar, signaling the start of the Cardassian Rebellion. Although Damar lost half his troops in the attack and the planet was not captured, the Cardassians were successful in destroying the Dominion facility. Weyoun speculated that Damar had picked the facility as a target to prevent any of his future clones from being activated. (DS9: "The Changing Face of Evil", "When It Rains...")

According to the script, the pronunciation for Rondac was "RON-dak". [1]
