Roy Brocksmith played the role of Sirna Kolrami in the Star Trek: The Next Generation episode "Peak Performance". He later appeared in the Star Trek: Deep Space Nine episode "Indiscretion", as Razka Karn.
He had a small but important role in Gus van Sant's remake of Alfred Hitchcock's Psycho assuming the non-speaking role of the bystander outside the real-estate office where Marion Crane works. (The film also featured Ken Jenkins and the late Anne Haney)
He also made appearances on Bablyon 5 and Ally McBeal and was one of a large number of once and future Star Trek actors to appear in the sci-fi/action film Total Recall. Others included Ronny Cox, Marc Alaimo, Robert Picardo, Mel Johnson, Jr., Lycia Naff, Robert Costanzo, and Frank Kopyc.
Brocksmith died on December 16, 2001 from complications due to diabetes.
