The Sanction was an Ornaran freighter that was used to transport goods between the worlds Ornara and Brekka. Under the command of T'Jon, its primary purpose was to transport the cargo of felicium from Brekka to Ornara.
In 2364, the Sanction was caught in the unique solar flares of the Delos system, and requested assistance. The Enterprise-D responded before the freighter disintergrated, but was only able to save some of the ship's cargo of felicium, two Brekkians, and two Ornarans, including T'Jon. (TNG: "Symbiosis")
