The Sappora system was a planetary system outside Federation space, located near the Timor system. Yanas Tigan owned the sixth-largest pergium mining operation in the sector located on the planet New Sydney (Sappora VII).
Ezri Dax traveled to the system in 2375 to enlist her help in searching for Miles O'Brien, who had gone missing on New Sydney. (DS9: "Prodigal Daughter")
