Science Station Delta-05 was a Federation outpost in sector 3-0. This planetary outpost was located on the edge of the Romulan Neutral Zone. It was one of nine outposts located in its sector.

In 2364, Science Station Delta-05 was the first stop of the USS Enterprise-D's tour of the sector. The crew of the Enterprise-D determined that the outpost had been obliterated by an unknown assailant. (TNG: "The Neutral Zone")

In 2365, the assailant was later identified as the Borg. (TNG: "Q Who")

According to the Star Trek: Star Charts, on page 66, Science Station D-5 was located in the Beta Quadrant.
