In 2368, Commander William T. Riker, the first officer of the USS Enterprise-D, informed Starfleet Command that their survey mission of this sector would be delayed at least a week. The reason cited was that the Enterprise would be dropping off survivors from the USS Denver. (TNG: "Ethics")
