Seibu

Seibu may be a location in the Sol system, home of an Earth baseball team in the Planetary Baseball League, in the 21st century. Buck Bokai played for Seibu in 2023 and 2024 after being acquired from the Tanis club. The following year, Bokai went on to play for the London Kings.

Unless the "system-wide batting champion" note is some sort of joke, it might indicate Bokai's career to be extra-planetary. It is not clear if Seibu is on Earth, or nearby (on the moon for example). While not known to currently be a real place "Seibu" is the name of a Japanese department store chain, but the card was presumably listing the teams by city, not by sponsorship. Seibu, the department store chain named above, IS, however, the primary sponsor of the Japanese league Seibu Lions, this may be the team that the card speaks of.
