Template:Realworld Shari Lewis (17 January 19332 August 1998; age 65) was an American writer and performer best known for her puppet character "Lamb Chop" in several children's television shows and specials including Lamb Chop's Play-Along whcih aired on PBS from 1992 to 1997. Lewis wrote an episode of the original Star Trek series, "The Lights of Zetar", with her second husband Jeremy Tarcher.
