Sharon Davis is an art director and set designer who started to work on Star Trek as graphics assistant in the art department on Star Trek: The Next Generation. Davis moved on and received credit as set designer on the first half of the second season of Star Trek: Deep Space Nine and on the ninth feature film Star Trek: Insurrection. In 1998 she worked as art director on the exhibition Star Trek World Tour and as producer and production designer on the theme park film The Klingon Encounter for Star Trek: The Experience.
Prior to her work on Star Trek, Davis started her career as production assistant on the short thriller The Last Prom in 1980. She appeared as a background actress in the 1988 television comedy Rock 'n' Roll Mom along with John Hostetter and Clay Wilcox, was the art director on the 1991 drama Rich Girl (music by Jay Chattaway), and as production assistant on the drama My Family Treasure (1993, with Theodore Bikel and Boris Krutonog).
In 1999, Davis worked as set painter on the drama Charming Billy. Further credits as set designer include the television drama The Last Brickmaker in America (2001) on which she also had a featured role as school administrator, the comedy Shallow Hal (2001), episodes of American Heiress (2007), Saints & Sinners (2007), and Criminal Minds (2007), the television movie Ben 10: Race Against Time (2007), the television drama The Meant to Be's (2008), the television series 90210 (2008) and House M.D. (2009-2010), and the comic adaptation Iron Man 2 (2010, with Eugene P. Rizzardi, John Eaves, and Daren Dochterman).
Following uncredited work as art director on the music drama Flying By (2009), Davis worked as art director and assistant art director on the television series Castle (2010). More recently, she was the assistant art director and set designer on the crime drama Lawless (2012, starring Tom Hardy) and art director on the sport drama 42 (2013, with supervising art direction by Aaron Haye).
