Siberia is a vast region located on the Asian continent, in the nation-state of Russia and bordering Outer Mongolian region. During the early 20th century, a meteor impacted in Siberia flattening the whole forest for several kilometers.
- This incident is sometimes known as the Tunguska Event.
In 2268, Sulu informed Captain Kirk of this event, however, Kirk dismissed the comment, stating that if he wanted a Russian history lesson, he would have brought Chekov. (TOS: "That Which Survives")
