The Spacematic was never referenced in dialogue, nor was it seen in TOS: "The Trouble with Tribbles". Rather, a miniature of this vessel was created for "Trials and Tribble-ations" with the intention that it belonged to Cyrano Jones. [1]

The model was built by Jason Kaufman.

Footage of the Spacematic can be seen in the DS9 Season 5 DVD's special features that look at the making of "Trials and Tribble-ations".
