US/Japan release[]
The entirety of The Animated Series was released on LaserDisc under the name The Animated Adventures of Gene Roddenberry's Star Trek in the United States on 20 March 1990 and in Japan on 8 March 1997. In 1997, it was re-released in the US without any changes.
"The Ambergris Element" is listed as episode 13 instead of 12, and the numbering continues after that up to 23.
