Template:Realworld The first release of Star Trek: The Original Series on Betamax was on 81 tapes. Each tape contained a single episode, and "The Cage" was released twice. The first had the black & white scenes from Gene Roddenberry's copy of the original episode, while the second was the "rediscovered" all color version and was labeled as tape 99.
