An album consisting entirely of sound effects from the original TV soundtrack of Star Trek: The Original Series was first released on LP in 1978. The album was reissued on CD in 1988 by GNP Crescendo produced by Neil Norman. Clocking in at thirty-nine minutes, 69 selections are included ranging from eight seconds long for a sample of the "Transporter Dematerialization" to just under six minutes for the "Enterprise Bridge Sequence."
