Starbase Montgomery is a Federation starbase near Beta Kupsic. In 2365, the USS Enterprise-D docked at the starbase for engineering consultations following a series of readout failures in the warp core, and to transfer aboard tactical advisor Kyle Riker to brief his son, Will, on the mission of the USS Aries.
