In Starfleet, cadets are new recruits that enroll in Starfleet Academy, with graduates promoted to the rank of Ensign and become an officer.
- Many Starfleet officers were cadets at some point in their career. Personnel which are only known to have reached the designation of cadet without further promotion are listed. Certain other personnel which are reknown for their actions as a cadet are listed as well.
