Stella Adler (1901-1992) was a American actress and acting teacher. She was considered as a master in the field of acting and was a proponent of method acting. In the late 2360s, Data studied Adler's work in order to improve his acting skills, and found himself "particularly attracted" to the techniques described – noting Adler as one of his mentors.
