A subspace implosion is a violent destructive implosion whose effects can reach into interspace and destroy objects there. On an NX-class starship a subspace implosion can be created by overloading three plasma injectors. When the warp core is activated, a feedback pulse will travel through the reactor, destroying it. (ENT: "Twilight")
- In the alternate timeline where Jonathan Archer's brain was infected by interspatial parasites, he destroyed them in 2165 by causing a subspace implosion in Enterprise's warp core. This also destroyed the ship.
