- Hikaru Sulu, helmsman of the USS Enterprise, and later captain of the USS Excelsior.
- Hikaru Sulu (mirror) from the Mirror Universe.
- Demora Sulu, Hikaru Sulu's daughter, and helmsman of the USS Enterprise-B.
Notes
In 2344, Chakotay's entry into Starfleet Academy was sponsored by a male Captain Sulu. (VOY: "Tattoo") However, it is not made entirely clear which Sulu it was. The suggestion is likely Hikaru Sulu, who would be 107 at the time (note that McCoy was an Admiral at the age of 137 when he toured the USS Enterprise-D in TNG: "Encounter at Farpoint", so 107 is not out of the realm of question), but because his first name is not mentioned, there is always the possibility of another Captain Sulu not previously mentioned.
