Picture[]

Is there a reason the picture keeps being removed from this page? - AJHalliwell 20:37, 7 Sep 2005 (UTC)

Yes. 205.251.151.222 added the image of Alice the ship in Human form. I took it off, because it was Alice the ship, not Alice Battisti. The person then added it again, and I removed it again. The picture is not of Alice Battisti; the only thing the ship and the person share is the name "Alice." -Platypus Man | Talk 20:43, 7 Sep 2005 (UTC)

But the shuttle scanned Paris' brain before creating the image, and Paris certainly seemed to know something was wrong the first time he saw her. I don't see any reason to assume this wasn't her. (Removed that, as we didn't see the first time he saw her) My point still holds. - AJHalliwell 20:46, 7 Sep 2005 (UTC)

I also thought the ship used her image. Need to check and see exactly what the episode says. Jaf 23:42, 7 Sep 2005 (UTC)Jaf
Given that "she" acquired her voice from a modulation of Paris's voice, I think it's a safe bet that "she" did the same thing for her appearance. She saw Tom and some others and created a female version of his species for her image. Also, the first thing Tom says when he meets the human-appearing Alice is "Who are you?" If she looked like Alice Battisti, Tom would recognize her or at least comment that she looks just like Battisti. Also, since Abaddon's Alice was played by the same actress, I think it's safe to assume that it has a basic female form that she modifies for the species of each pilot. I think that's enough to prove that Alice the Ship's picture does not belong on this page. -Platypus Man | Talk 19:30, 8 Sep 2005 (UTC)
Whoops. I put in the picture but before I read the comments. --Blue387 05:07, 13 December 2006 (UTC)

The image that the ship used may have been of Alice Battisti. However, the ship acquired its voice from a modulation of Paris's voice and may have done the same with its image. Furthermore, the same actress played the ship when it presented itself as a member of Abaddon's species.

There is no indication of this, not even in the script notes, to support this suggestion. --Alan del Beccio (talk) 18:12, November 17, 2017 (UTC)
